Hot Apple Cider


2 L apple juice or apple cider

1 large orange, sliced

3 cinnamon sticks

4 star anise

1 tbsp whole cloves

1 tbsp whole allspice

1 inch ginger root, sliced

¼ cup Vinesation Cranberry Pear White Balsamic 


Crockpot: Combine all ingredients. Cook on low 2-3 hours. 

Stovetop: Combine all ingredients in Dutch oven. Bring to boil. Cover & reduce heat. Simmer 2-3 hours. 

*Stovetop will give a lighter profile, crockpot will bring out the darker flavors of the cider. 

Add 1.5 cups spiced rum for a kick
